Example 8 - Sub-Sea Testing System

Through recommendation, Power-Line were contacted by a Sub-Sea Valve Manufacturing company and commissioned to develop a high pressure (10,000 psi) Hyperbaric Water Glycol Hydraulic System c/w full Real Time Data Capture which would also monitor the Fluid Cleanliness Levels of each tested valve.

The new system was required to simulate the operation of the valves that the company manufactured through a Stepping Motion, of up to 1 million steps which operated the valves continually from Closed to Open and vice-versa in an effort to test the life of the company’s products and offer a comprehensive data package of test criteria with the sale of each of their valves.

This high-integrity, leak-free system, complete with electronic feedback, has provided the desired reduction in cost, increased system accuracy, and offers a reduced environmental impact.
